In the old picture here, is our company founder and great grandfather, Charles A. Burnett. The year 1910 was a simpler time when our village was surrounded by potato farms and open land. Now Ridgewood, NJ is a major commuter suburb of New York City and the farms are long gone.

Our business has evolved from a well known electrical contracting company to well respected Lighting and Furnishings showroom in the Bergen County and surrounding area. During our travels across the United States we have been surprised of the lack of lighting selection in many parts of our country. With this in mind, over the last 10 years, we have also reached out via the internet to bring our quality lighting selection, service and time tested value pricing to our customers throughout the USA. The best of both worlds…internet pricing and availability with the security of our brick and mortar 100 plus year operation. We have kept our website rather simple because we still believe in the human factor. Many of our sales personnel have over 20 years of lighting / electrical experience and can provide a wealth of information not available elsewhere so you can make the correct lighting selection.
